Missing he-111 Zwilling
#4

It worked. Thanks.

The compressed archive is packaged for the old wrapper (throws everything in the ...\il2\Files\ directory)
Extracting it to a tamp directory and installing into the MODS folder does work (tested and working here)

Here's the step-by-step procedure, in case someone want to install the he111z in its own folder, like most other planes that are added or converted to flyable by mods

- Double click the compressed archive HE111Zblahblah.exe
- It will point by default at C:\Program Files\Blahblahblah\IL-2 folder: change that!
- replace the path to Il2 with the path to a temporary folder (e.g. C:\temp ) and click 'install'.
- When the extraction is complete navigate to the temp folder: you will find a folder called 'Files', and some files
- Rename the Files folder to He-111Z (or Joe)
- Copy the newly renamed folder He-111Z
- Drop the folder he-111Z in your game's MODS folder
- You can happily discard the other files that you found in your temporary directory, outside of the Files folder (the one that you reamed he-111Z, or Joe). Those files were useful and actually necessary with the old wrapper but now we have been using the new wrapper for quite a while so you dont need those files any more. All you need is the Files *folder*, i.e. the folder that you have renamed to he-111z (or Joe) and dropped into the MODS folder.
