I had the same issue a while back, go in to program files/Ubisoft/IL2Sturmovik1946/missions.

you should see 3 folders, one marked "Campaign" another marked "Single" and the third marked "Net"

If the "Net" folder is missing simply right click and select create new folder, then name it "Net" and your problem should be solved.
