Updated Typhoon AC_Installer needed

yep i suppose we all get a bit impatient from time to time and say things we don't really mean - myself included (i've sentenced myself to 3 weeks hard labour trying to get the current tiffies cockpit to shut in flight! followed by another 2 weeks of trying to get p-38's to take-off from tacloban airfield on leyte in philippines - try it you'll see what i mean! we don't want a site where people are frightened to post because they think they will get critiised for commenting do we? you know democracy and all that. i guess some find it a wee bit puzzling when we see planes that are borderline freaky (P-26, Panther, tiger moth etc) getting completed and seem to work ok, whilst REALLY important core aircraft like the tiffy seem to be possessed by some demented gremlin - probably hard-coded into the game by ruddy OM to prevent the true normandy airwar ever being possible unless you buy his version, which is due out in the 23rd century i believe. oh yes you can preorder it at amazon now. just be sure you don't die of old age first.

those marginal planes are great and we all appreciate them, but at the end of the day you can't really do a lot with them can you?

if we can really get a new typhoon that actually irons out all the problems it would be a great day for il-2 indeed. its really frustrating when you're a mission builder with the complete series of books on 2nd tactical AF 1943-45 and you can't build any typhoon missions because of OM's bloody tunnel vision for just the luftwaffe, VVS and USAAF/USN.

perhaps then someone could work on some real ww11 aircraft that its possible to include in missions- the japs are a bit short for starters;
ki-44 tojo, ki-45 nick, d4y judy (inline and radial egine), ki-48 lily, ki-21-11b, p1y frances, h4k mavis, plus loads more seaplanes like pete, jake etc

raf; meteor, lancaster, beaufort, new blenheim with cockpit, whirlwind, sunderland, walrus, vampire (for 46), whitley, hampden, swordfish etc.

your hard work is appreciated, but its probably appreciated a heck of a lot more when they can be used in missions and especially when they work properly!!
