Problem with Saitek X52's rudder twist
#7

Well, it seems to me that you have a problem similar to the one I had. When I first bought my brand new X 52 last summer I had it working correctly for approx 10 minutes. Then, out of nowhere, my X axis ceased to work. I contacted the shop where I had bought it and they told me to send it back. After a weeks time I got it back, they told me that the problem was a loose connector and that it should work fine now. It worked fine for about a week, then the X axis started to go loose again. After 3 months the condition worsened and I had to send it back to the shop. Again, they told me the same thing and that it should work fine now. But, somehow I didn't really believe it so I wrote an email directly to Saitek, with everything I had in my mind to tell them (and it wasn't nice). They replied to me that I had a right for a replacement, and if it brakes again, that I should ask for a new one. And it happened again, several months later it ceased to work again. Quite pissed to be honest, I contacted my supplier and told them about the problem, and they reluctantly (after making several contacts with me and Saitek) agreed to send me a new one. Of course, I had to wait almost 4 weeks to get a new X52, but in the end I did. Now, the new one works very well (except one button that doesn't react) but I am just happy that everything else works so I didn't want to make a problem over one button.
All in all, the point of my story is that you should definitely ask for a replacement!
