Weird...
I have been up to my neck in KTO stuff.... when it's not IRL stuff. However, I pulled out the mission briefings for Part three two days ago, dusted them off, did some more reading on ComAir New Georgia, added missions, and began to make them.
It will take a little time as I am starting classes again tomorrow, but I'm hoping in a month I can release a part III version, and a Full Version.
BTW. I plan to used the modded new slot PBY, and maybe some others, for some interesing Semi-Historical missions. Keep in mind VMF-213 historicly came off the line just before Munda was taken. Your pilot then is asked to spend a month at Buttons "Espiritu Santu" (sp?), and help VMF-123 switch from Wildcats, to the newest version of the Corsair, the F4U-1A. The majority of the missions in Part III will be based off of third person information, and not as accurate at Parts I and II, which I had squadron documents and journals for.
This part will cover VMF-123's third tour in the Pacific, (as thier first two were uneventful wildcat patrols over Cactus). Your Pilot will decide to stay on the line with VMF-123 after training some of their pilots.
A Fun tip, if you want to get Crazy with your Marine Corsair Campaigns, you can do something I did. Take ComAirSols and play it infront of Phil K's Awesome Hell in the pacific Series, followed by some of the Corsair KTO stuff I have, and plan to put out. Talk about a Gull Winged Grand Campaign!
Cheers and THANKS for the intrest!
