from what ive seen its not completely black. its a splinter pattern. this is what i've come up with really quick. pretty much what they look like. i can add/change things if this is a good start for you. this is based on researching images of the aircraft from the game, as i have only played Ace Combat 3....like ONCE. so i have no idea the intricacies of the razgriz stuff from AC5. 
so hopefully this is at least KIND OF what you meant. :wink: includes the dark gray and black splinter pattern (not too much unlike early luftwaffe stuff), razgriz squadron emblem, and red trim.

i dunno what you think but just the P38 in that dark splinter scheme looks pretty damn awesome to me! 8)
