Up graded video card

Ok 1st whatever you do dont in gods name try to oveclock a laptop, you will kill it.
Secondly you Must use a custom cooler or fan to cool your cpu as high temps are bad for cpus and will reduce the life of them, i use a custom akasa amber series cooler which has manual speed control, i also use vram heatsinks for the memory chips on my graphics card.
If you look at my pc specs below you will see that i have put "oc" next to my cpu and my graphics card because i overclocked them, it has done wonders i now get 127fps at 1280x1024 on perfect settings. Be warned though overclocking can damage or kill your pc if done incorrectly but usually its safe. The danger comes from raising the core voltage to increase the stability of your cpu as you increase the clock speed. Too much voltage will damage your cpu and always increases the heat output, this opens a whole new can of worms. Your best bet is to search overclocking on google. There are always pros and cons to overclocking.
