Firstly I couldn't run the mission as it gave an error that a flight was duplicated.... so i opened it in FMB and re-saved...(this causes it to re-check and list flights in order).
The mission was good for a first effort. You made the common mistake of leaving a/c at their default speeds....which the FMB sets as 300 kph....this is too fast for bombers.... they need to be set at 200 kph..... don't forget that an average cruising speed is not applicable when trying to keep in formation. If we turn off the autopilot then we immediately start to fall behind the AI leader and in order to try and stay in formation must use full throttle which will soon cause overheating.
The large amounts of flak over UK seemed to me to be a bit like the B-17 raids over Germany later in the war.... I don't think that during the Battle of Britain they had as many AA guns as all that.
I made the mistake of sneaking a look from external view down to see the effect of the bombing on the London docks.... and my game froze...
