I have to say I agree with you guys, can't find anything suggesting the French used them warning decals. I did find something saying the Swiss used similar markings and possible the Germans did paint them on, as for the Fin's & Croat's I can't find any thing to say they did, so going with they didn't.

PS do you like the new radiator grilles?
