hi all

love the map but I am having install problems

I run 409b1M with the slot maps of course sound pack and all

I can;t get this map to show up on my mission build list

slot already creates a mapmod folder
could this be the problem
great looking map I can;t wait to try it

If you copy the 'mods' folder from the Aleutians install folder into your own 'Mods' folder you should not have any trouble with the install. If your system asks if you wish to overwrite certain folders, you may always answer yes as other than the folder structure itself, there is no actual overwriting of any files.

But I wonder if you can't see the map in your FMB (what you call a Mission Build List I believe), because you forgot to add the necessary line to your all.ini file? That's what it sounds like.

Go to the following file,

.....MODS/mapmods/maps/all.ini

and add the lines indicated in the install instructions. Don't know them by heart, but it's probably something like

Aleutians Aleutians/load.ini

Please check the install readme notes for the correct line to add to your all.ini
