The new aircraft allone add alot to the game. The new maps are gorgeous, and the other thing is that becuase it is an oficial patch, most servers and mods will now be based of this... so you really need it to keep up withthe new mods.

4.09 mods? 4.09 servers? I think Im about to cry....

I don't see what is wrong with keeping up in online play just because of a small smoke issue that may or may not be fixable with mods? I got 4.09 and I also recommend its worth getting!
