Thanks, guys!
The Hawaii map is the default one in my HSFX4.11 install.
To Fireskull:
I use an Ati 5770 GFX (1152X864) under Windows XP 32 bit. I have an AMD Athlon II X4 Quad Core. Still stupid enough to not use dual channel and run one 2Gig and one 1 Gig DDR2 (sigh) RAM. Most people told me under Windows XP 32 identically 4 Gigs would be far better, like 2X2.
I maxed the settings in my CCC (disabled Catalyst AI and V-Sync, also use "Box" filter for Antialiasing) and used settings I read here for my config.ini, mostly your tips and tips from another forum. I can post my conf.ini settings, of course.
Ah and I don't use Tripple buffering in my CCC.
Video:
Mipmap filter: Anisotropic
Texture compression: None
All other boxes marked except "Use Palette" and "Texture Compress ARB Extension".
For campaigns with a lot of action I would probably lower my resolution, for single missions the FPS seem very nice.
I enabled some special effects mods in my "jsgme" setup.
I installed with the 10.4 driver, thus I had to do some fixing in order to get around corruptions. 10.5 fixed some issues but brought others in this install, so a logical next step would be to install the Ati 10.6 driver to test it in another install of IL-2 HSFX4.1 or-4.11.
Hope that was useful.
Sorry for the late reply, hard week at testing.
Thanks for the kind words..
Tom
