Why do you need the SAS MOD avtivator for a mission campaign if you don't use their MODS????

The SM.79 is included in 4.09 patch, so you do not need any mod for flying it. But you need a mod activator (i.e. SAS mod activator) to add the Mediterranean Map to the game, and playing the campaign.
