I was on my last check before I collapsed when I saw your post... I can be rather good at identifying alot of planes, not just Mustangs... The only ones I really have trouble with most of the time are the Russian planes, but I can still get most of the later jet fighters... Anyways, the tail comes from the later, tall-tailed, P-51H Mustangs and was applied to all Cavalier Mustangs. Personally, I think it makes the Cavalier 'Stangs look uglier than the standard North American or Commonwealth Mustang, but that's just me...
