Yes, the Cavalier mustang saw some service.
Trans-Florida Aviation (later Cavalier Aircraft Corporation) had some success selling its refurbished Mustangs to both the military and civil markets. This pair were from a batch of nine supplied to Bolivia in 1967-68. Here they carry USAF markings before delivery.
The Piper Enforcer, however, did not.
Piper revived the Enforcer program in the early 1980's and built two more aircraft as the PA-48 under a USAF evaluationcontract. once again, no sales were forthcoming. N481PE was the first of the further redesigned duo to fly in March 1983.
