NAS Pensacola - oh yeah it's still here. There are a slew of bases down here. I'm stationed at Pensacola currently for flight school and will be heading to NAS Whiting (nearby) rather soon. Pensacola is a thriving base and also where the Blue Angels are stationed. Pretty damn motivating to see them screaming overhead on my way to work. (They practice here - also NAS = Naval Air Station.)

There's a beautiful Aviation Museum on base, I recommend it to anybody in the area. Mostly Navy/Marine Corps birds but still fascinating - Fully restored stuff from WWII.

What brought you to Pensacola in 1993?
