I'm sure you're right, usually it comes down to whether or not a modder wants to do it or not, though, not whether the AAA fanbase considers the aircraft as a justifiable addition to the game..."justification is in the eye of the downloader", most often. Most often, people complain about an aircraft being pointless or unjustified AFTER work has begun on it, it seems. Doesn't seem to stop Slow from producing loads of Luft '46 stuff despite the whines. I think the issue there is that usually there's little to no data from which to base a credible FM for many of these theoretical aircraft that are perceived as unjustified.

Now, if the lot of you would kindly drop the whole Mustang subject, it would be greatly appreciated. It gets old to be called commendable, but crazy...

Back on topic, those Mustangs are really cool....in a "surviving aborted baby of a P-51 and an ugly stick" kind of way.
