Wow, all I can say is this is amazing. I can't wait to take the P-38G out to escort B-25D's in the Pacific or tear up Bf 109's over the Mediterranean. I do have a couple questions though...
I heard that the new P-38G doesn't have the loadout of one 310gal and one 165gal drop tanks centered for the mission to intercept Yamamoto. Were you planning on adding that in a later update or anything?
Now that we're all patiently awaiting your early Lightnings, were you considering reworking the later P-38J and P-38L to bring them up to the standards of your work? I heard that they were okay, but not the greatest and that there were compressibliity issues and I thought it would be nice to have something made by a master like yourself to replace them.
My last question... Have you thought at all of making some of the more unusual Lightnings, like the Pathfinder, P-38M Night Lightning, or the F-5 rece Lightnings? There's even P-38K that was made, but never used... I even heard talk around here once about a "P-38R-LO" that had clipped wings based off of the Spitfire, the reworked and smoother body of the P-38K, Merlin engines, and the bubble-canopy that was tested on the Swordfish for 1946. All of the developments were probable if the war had continued, they were just never combined on a single plane... Anyways, I've started rambling... Just some food for thought, nothing more...
