there are some that make me grit my teeth. Part of me wonders if they are this distorted from an error in the download.
My internal f4f sound (PrattWhitney_1830_2701.wav) sounded really chewed up.
I wanted to know if this was just me, or if it was the recording. I don't think sounds like that should even be put into the game. It can really ruin the rep of your sound mod. Its sort of like the weakest link.
My experience with modding sounds is that people are more finicky about their weapons sounds, anyhow, but i hate hearing crackles or white noise and bit crushing with in the engine noises.
On a more positive note, some sounds are really good. There are some added engine noises for when the plane goes into a stall, and added wind noise.
For me its a worthwhile mod, that i will continue to add to.
