Its been my experience that the modded sounds are potentially better.
This potential relies on the quality of the recording used in the wav file, as well as the time put into the presets to make sure the levels are properly done.
I think some sounds still need more work while others are really well done and i would label as final production quality.
My point is some of these sounds are better left out. I'd rather hear the default than a chewed up bit file.
I know i can replace them, which is great, but for someone else that might be a real hassel.
