Alright i have only 30 minutes to type this before i rush to work. I have done the ENTIRE redownload reinstall everything is fine, i have the 1946 game patched correctly, with the UI also done EXACTLY as instructed and looking rather fine and lovely. Everything works perfect just fine, except the fact I can't run any campaign other than straight from the farm (awesome starter campaign btw) which seems to be due to the fact i go straight to a mission briefing. I fixed the language and am happy. I use window mode out of preferance so it doesnt freeze when i press teh button.
Now here is the problem.
I can;t start a single DGen campaign, and my error file tells me i can't open the last file it needs USSR_ru.dat
I have it right where it should be. i backe dup when i reinstalled nothing is missing but yet that isnt the only problem. NO campaign works. if i click start after ive selected the plane and time for any nation it will act like i alt+tabbed but keep my game window up..i click teh game its as if i never pressed the start button. all i can do is just go back to the main menu. no file is missing nothing is unusual the DGEN is exactly as it should. and for the millionth time in my life no one has this problem so I have to waste 2 days looking for a topic. nothing, not on any site not on GOG not on UBI not on ANYTHING. its the ONLY THE ONLY problem. everything works better than i even could have imagined. the only error i have listed in the txt is that missing .dat file that isnt missing. everythign else is sound and reads correctly. any ideas? i wish i didnt have to go to work now that i am sure that i have to birng this topic up myself...
fml. otherwise i love the game, i just keep playign quick mission builder. I want to solve this issue before i try anything. a reminder my game is clean and i installed UI1.1 fine and then 1.2 fine. its all good. i tested everythign els echecked folders etc. its all good. just wonderign if anyoen has any ideas what could cause this problem. i mean it doesnt even close the program just makes me have to click back into the game and thats it. liek i never pressed it.sorry for typos but MAJORLY pressed on time.
