Attenuation's not working/which file(s) to replace?
#1

Hi everybody
Still going at it(cOL that's crying out loud (LOL))
OK a quick run down, I ve been at this for a month, lots o time
My external sounds are very low from the cock-pit.
Where Ive finally gotten to... is that my attenuation config is stuck
all the way back to, an or the original install from Ubisoft.
It just doesn't work,(0,1,7,14,99) hence leading me to believe this could be the root of the problem.
Ive done everything I can think of...from re-down loads, Ubi included, tested for corruption in the files,
on-board audio/ sound card in/out...on and on.
The attenuation in the config, just seems to have no effect, sound is balanced out of pit, changes to the config, all seem to work.....and, yes, I checked the spelling too
Im on win7, works for others in my group, and Ive done 2 downloads from Ubi I will try again.
My questions are: what file(s) is/are the attenuation config associated with?
and....could my system, IE my win 7, be playing a part in this?
and.....with out a major re-write/re-record of the prs file, any Ideas?
Im at the point of a complete reinstall, to me, these seem to be my last options.
To all those, with past suggestion, a those coming up, thanks
MOXY
