Zuti is wrapping up his MDS for 1.0 release and I didn't bothered him. But I will tell him about this again as now we talk on the thread about "wishes" for MDS .
before you disable MDS you should know:
MDS stands for moving dogfight server. It has:
-Moving AI in dogfight!! You can have planes AI spawning in waves for your pleasure and tanks rolling on the ground for you to kick their bums.
-Frontline flag carriers placeble on tanks so you could capture teritory and airfields from the enemy. The frontline situation is updating in real time and you stay with finger crossed for your tanks to finally capture that airfied and land on it... the AA gunners are "converted" to your side once the capture is done.
-Radar with setable refresh interval on minimap. After you change the "aircraft icon" to a dot (thanks for the minimap small icons MOD) things get realy clear.
1.0 will bring
-rearm/refuel/repair/ with settable parameters (time, etc). repair only for guns.
-more options for radar. (they will be, range, altitude)
-recon AI planes setable from mission building that will spot the 'target"... something to intercept if you want to protect that valuable cargo as much as possible.
and more other features and settings to improve gameplay.
it includes:
- Certificates AI mod (v3.0)
- Fireballs carrier takeoff mod (v5.2), modified now as you can chose what spawn configuration the carrier to have.
So you see... ZUTIs MDS is not just another "I don't know what it does" mod. Besides sHr's 6DoF mod... is the second in importance IMHO (and this competing in different categories of mods)
