Do you need this to install 1.2 version and if so what do you do with it. thanks for all replies.

you don't need it. conisdering you have already installed 1.1 etc, then put all 8 components of 1.2 in a folder together and make sure they are in order. double click on the .exe (part 1), point it to your il-2 install and it will install everything to your il-2 directory.
