two monitors, two different screen shots, is this possible?

Hi. While IL-2 doesn't support more than one monitor, you can definitely do one of 2 things:
In either windows or your graphics card utility, set up twin monitors in the "extend my desctop" mode. Then position the monitors the same way you have them stacked (i used to use 2 cheapo acer widescreens one on top of the other) and fire up IL-2. Drawback: there's a screen border, though really narrow, which becomes a pain, and you've basically got just 1 monitor, only bigger.
There are a bunch of apps which use devicelink to do practical thing with your second monitor - like display instrument gauges, or, for that matter, pretty much any info. They are intended to link to a second box, but if configured with localhost for an addy, you can use the second screen. Though nothing quite as easy as M$ flight sim.
