I recommend this map highly as a new experience in IL2 flying.
Also, down low, it doesn't look any worse than any other map. :wink:

I know the problem with hight level of detail in ground textures. They look great at hight altitude, but horrible close to the ground. I know that, but what you say is right, that's not worse than any other map....so people please take the good part of this : middle and hight altitude fly will be greatly improved.

But i have a little idea which maybe can do this point go better for low altitude fly. Nothing revolutionnary right but enough to improve that. There will be a V2 maybe next weekend. It take time to test :roll: .

Good feedbacks tell me i'm in the good way....so I will go on for next maps i already started to remap:

Kyushu (finished at 90%)
Hawaii (same)
ItalyAfrica....and next......don't recall the entire name too long :lol: (begining)
Italy_DF (90% finished)
Guadalcanal (70%)
New Guinea (70%)...........i'm very interested by the new version in WIP, same for new Hawaii from Porto.
