[Lejo]

I've been searching for some Iwo Jima colour images which were made during the battle and as you can see the volcano isn't dark coloured at all and still vegetation on it. On the island itself I see some green shrubs and grass as shown on image number one.









EDIT: look at these colour footages of the invasion of Iwo Jima. The coastline has dark volcanic sand but more inland shrubs, high grass and even a lot of palmtrees. (Note: consists some graphic images :!: )
