Not really. After all I've only done one ship so far.
--- but I am concentrating on ships for the Mediterranean, which tends to rule out the IJN.

I'm quite tempted by some of the Italian Navy warships though.

It is a great pity that the game does not have any USN nor IJN battleships.
Pacific Fighters was a huge disappointment due to the limited choice of warships.

I'm a profane in modding so I apologize for my ignorance and for bother you wiyh my topic!

Reading your post at goshikisen I have got an idea to couple with the two things: your interest in a new carrier for RN and the desire for new IJN ships!

In the realization of new carrier for RN that you think to realize in the future you need to do anyway some experiments with them so , if in the meantime of the experimetation , you'll do other 4 new slot for ship you can do 4 great needed ship for IJN and Pacific Theatre lovers and for a 'what if' scenarios between IJN and RN too:

(first new ship) - The change of the side from starbord to port of the island of the Akagi allow to realize the Kaga frankenship;

(second new ship) - The same change of the side from starbord to port of the island of the IJN Generic Carrier allow to realize the Hiryu frankenships;

(third new ship) - If you delete the island of the USN CVL , this allow to realize the IJN CVL GENERIC like the Shoho , Zuiho , Chioda and Chitose frankenships;

(fourth new ship) - If you delete the island of the USN CVE , this allow to realize the IJN CVE GENERIC like the Taiyo , Chuyo , Unyo and other similar frankenships that at the moment I don't remember.

Yes , those new ships will be the stock ones with really little modification but they are badly needed in the game!
