You're right, the ToW mod instructions asked for it to be placed inside the STD folder. I still have it like that on an older install.
There's probably no harm done in having a mod with its 3do folder inside the STD folder, but I think its good practise to keep the STD folder as 'clean' as possible to avoid confusion.
I have another install where I took the ToW folders, and put them inside their own folder, just to keep the STD folder clean.
That works just as well.
It's a matter of personal choice, I suppose. I just prefer to keep the STD folder reserved for the new plane entries. :wink:
