BRILLIANT MAP! Great framerates even over cities. Textures are fabulous! Install was a snap following the instructions. Missions save on it so I didn't need the 3do files although I'm keeping them around for future reference.
Considering that is (so far) the only glitch I've seen, I can live with it.
So kapteeni, when YOU are not making brilliant maps you're finding other brilliant maps to bring to us. Um, hello? Can we nominate kapteeni for Sainthood?
Thanks kap for finding this map and letting us in on it. Has this person made any other maps? They seem quite adept at map making.
Please don't stop! It would be a major, major loss to the community.
Quote:The only criticism I have is that the author is inconsistent re whether there is surf on the sea coast. On some stretches of coast, you have a strip of surf and then a strip of no surf and then surf again.I noticed that too but maybe...it could be the slope of the ocean floor. Long shallow slope, hardly any surf. Short steep slope, bigger surf. At least that would work as an explanation for me.

You know I think you are one of the very best map makers in the community. The only reason you should stop is because you just aren't into it anymore. Your maps have the fewest errors overall, always depict an interesting area and show such a degree of care and expertise that few can match you. At least that's my 2 kopecks on the matter.
Err... perhaps i can edit my old maps to look better with all these new textures and stuff.
