Ok i have used the following path: C:/Games/Ubisoft/Il-2 sturmovik 1946 i thought i had done right then? or do you mean something else? if so pls give me a new path.

Try and make your own path, eg: c:/games/il-2 (don't install in programs file). Also, turn user account control off in control panel. This has worked for me before on vista
