I have a quadrant and I used the controller software that came with it to set it up for fuel mixture, and it works great (in 10% increments). I bound the 'thrust reverser' at the very bottom of the lever's movement as 0%, so I don't accidentally kill the engine when moving the lever around - that way it requires a bit more force to get over the notchy resistance near the bottom of the movement.

Using "PPjoy" and "Glovepie" I also made the quadrant work with multi engines, but performance wasn't 100% satisfactory (didn't work well if moving both throttles at the same time, only when moving them one at a time).
