once you have the game up and running the way you like it......make a back up copy of it

then when you make a mod and it is sucessfull ......put it in the backup game as well

but only do so after you test it and its working well.....do this every time you do something new whether its a mod or a skin.....put it in youe backup game

then,when something goes wrong........all you need do is copy paste from the back up to restore your game to a working copy again....

plus...you will never lose a mod or a skin again....
