Got this from someone here at AAA.

Add this to the end of your config.ini file and it will display MPH and Feet as the default:

[Mods]
SpeedbarUnits=3
SpeedbarSpdKMH=1
SpeedbarSpdMPH=1
SpeedbarSpdKnots=1
SpeedbarAltMeters=1
SpeedbarAltFeet=1
SpeedbarTAS=1


This will also work for 4.09M.
