Hey guys, I want to pop in for a quick note here:
These processafinitymask tweaks do not appear to add any performance enhancement, at least I can not note any in various configs. I've tried them all, "0" gives the most overall FPS, as I wrote in my tweak guide some time ago.
However, this new nHancer tweak for multicore support via driver is HUGE. It gives me roughly 60-70% increase in performance (with a Q6600 @ 3.2ghz, tested via The Black Death) and that is gigantic. I will definitely make sure to include this tweak in the next edition of the tweak guide. Good find.
Edit: And this is even running IL2 via WinlauncherXP specified to use only 1 core. hock: Hell of an optimization!
Edit2: And now I'm confused. After doing a little tweaking further I am unable to return to the performance increase I had previously, even restoring the original conf.ini doesn't give back the performance I was seeing.
