I think the game with MDS on just assumes you actually want to use it... which I understand a bit... I don't find the mission builder to good without MDS .
I didn't had time to install my HSFX 4.1 yet but i will try today and post back if I observe same thing.
OK, I test it my self and yes... you need to open the MDS window and play a bit with som settings... enabling disabling something should be enough.... then saving works. I think MDS is one of the mods that is a mistake to oversee and consider just a minor nuisance.
Correct. Zuti has posted a reply about this here and I'm sure he will issue a patch for what is the most significant adavance in IL2 for a long time. He has posted a temporary fix:-

Fabianfred may have highlighted another issue though as this only deals with saving a mission. Let's hope it will be fixed in the new UP1.8 patch!
