IL-2 3D Images (Can you see it?)
#1

Since last week when mrpalaces posted pictures of his great looking paper models I have been fascinated with the 3D images like the ones he included. I went crazy with the camera, but then I figured that it would probably also work in IL-2 by taking screenshots with Fraps. I think it worked pretty well.

It seems that most people have a hard time seeing the 3D effect. You have to look at the center between the two halves and cross your eyes until the two halves come together and form a third image in the center. By focusing on this center image the 3-dimensions become apparent. For some people it takes a while, and others can never seem to get it at all. It's really amazing if you can, and the images are pretty easy to make.

I guess I need to post this disclaimer to those who don't get it:

1. There is no hidden camera secretly filming you while you are trying to cross your eyes and making faces in front of the screen. (or, if there is it wasn't put there by me)
2. Despite what your mother told you your eyes won't stick like that.
3. If you don't see it after 15 minutes of crossing your eyes you are probably trying too hard, please don't blame the migraine on me.
4. If you find movies of yourself making faces at the screen on Youtube I had nothing to do with it.
