What different in the video than yours?
By now I think you just play on the wrong map. While SMolensk is a boring green grassland the normandy maps are great colorful agriculture like in the video. Just try the Normandy map.
You dont have it in QMB so create a mission in the FMB or install QMB+ from this side.

If i am correct field of view is the same as zoom. You add the pixels from outside the screen inside and so the other pixels must jiggle to the middle. Thimk about what happens so, its zoom.
