Hello,
What is the difference between Unified Installer (UI) and HSFX?
What does HSFX bring that UI doesn't?
I've been away from AAA.com since 5 months at least so I kind of missed a few things :-)
Oh by the way: I found a nice steeing for those playing Il-2 1946 without joystick nor Track IR (just keyboard and mouse).
You need to have a 3 buttons mouse (one with a wheel)...
-Map your Engine Power to the Mouse Wheel so that you can control power with the mouse wheel (it works with me. I didn't think the mouse wheel would be recongized in Il-2 1946!)
-Map First Weapon (fire) to Left click and Secondary Weapon to the Right Click
- Keep the plane 's controls to the keyboard keys (standard)
Enjoy! It really gives a great immersion even if joystick is much better...
QUESTION: do you know if it will be possible in the future to map the rudder movement to the Mouse Wheel? You know : on the Microsoft 3 button mouse you can move the Mouse Wheel to the right or to the left...It helps in Acrobat Reader..I thought we could use this to simulate the Rudder Left and Rudder Right movements...
