When you go into your Il2 1946 directory and click on "files" and then click on "samples" you see a lot of wave files. My question is, is there someplace you can look to find out what each wave file means and what its for. I'm trying to increase the volume for certain effects and I'm having a heck of a time finding what I'm looking for. Using sound recorder works if you can find the exact effect. As an example I've been trying to turn down the volume of the engine on a Spitfire MkI. The engine on a 1939 Spitfire Mk I was a 1030hp RollsRoyce Merlin II liquid cooled V12.The armament on the 1939 Spitfire was 4- 7.7 mm Browning machine guns. The plane is in the game but I can't find the wave file that I can use to turn the sound up or down. Is there some where I can look to find out what is the proper wave file. I've tried several wave files I thought weree the ones I needed but they didn't work. HELP!!!!!
