Win 7 64 bit...no troubles at all. Install IL2 into either the Games folder or Program Files (x86) folder...not in regular Program Files. Installing into the regular Program Files on your hard drive will cause you problems, as in not being able to edit your config.ini file. Just be sure to give yourself full admin rights when you set up Win 7.
Also, to avoid some of the "nanny" issues that occur...disable the UAC. Avoids having to deal with all the "Do you really want to do this?" pop up messages.
For once, Micro$oft gave the public an OS that works without major buggery issues at release.
