...i cant extract the zip file directly into the MODS folder
... and i have install 4.09

Could you explain that with a tad more detail, please?

What are the "required mod files" that you put in the MODS folder?
What is in "the zip file"?
What did you start with, and what did you install to get to 4.09 Do you mean 4.09m Official Patch, or 4.09b1m?

THE zip file corresponds to the file type which is a Winzip file. and i installed 4.09b1m file with the mod eqiuvalent
