is anybody known to be working on adding Korean War or post WW2 squadrons/groups/etc to IL2 1946? i know 'some' has been added (i have UP 2.00) but there's still a ton of them NOT in the game.
what really drove this point home to me was recently attempting to start up DCG again and knock out some Korean DCG campaigns (unfortunately, at the moment DCG is NOT working with UP 2.00.) right off the bat i encounted a ton of trouble trying to match in game squadrons from Korean War to REAL squadrons/groups that flew in it. sure, there were 'some'... especially old WW2 squadrons that carried over... but almost everytime i tried to match up IL2's to a real life one from Korea (both UN and Korean/Russian) i ran into a major deal. clearly the game needs more work on this. heck, i'd do it if i had a clue as to how to add it to the game. anyway, not griping just asking about it.
also... while making a few missions i ran into a fluky deal... F-51 Mustangs that either had NO bubble canopy or maybe had them but they were completely invisible. :? i noticed it trying to put RAAF 77's Mustang Squadrons (and a USA one) in the mission...but when i gave up and switched them to South Korean Mustangs suddenly the bubble top re-appeared! is this a known bug or just something wild on my end? and if it is a bug, is anyone known to be working on it?
