1944 - 8th AF P-38 Gaining Air Superiority
1944 - 9th AF P-38 Droop Snoot Bombing Missions & P-51D Escort
1945 - 5th/13th AF Tokyo Club P-51
1945/46 - USN Watson's Whizzers - Captured German Aircraft Testing

Once more planes come out, I'd do something like this:
