that to me is indicates who made what - i was never under any impression Pablo had made these mods , just that he'd made a compilation of what was available - but yes he should have asked first...

You know what that's how this mess all started, making compilations its still modding (puting things together when they were not).

In case of Companies Vs costumers, they can still sue you if you use it non profit, because they can (i.e. money)

In case of costumers Vs costumers (modders), you have to ask first, and usually you'll get a positive answer.

So did Hades asked the guys here at AAA? Did the guys at SAS asked? History SFX? etc..........

S~ I happen to know the ONLY person that could sue anyone for any of this is Oleg and the gang, third party mods are just that, they have altered the original retail version in one way or another, third party modders can't receive compensation for someone using their mods, unless it was agreed by the original designer that the mods are an official extension. How do I know this?? Well there was a lil ole game back in the first part of this century called Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator, and there was a mod community around that one too, and an old acquaintance had created a mod to emulate gun smoke befor CFS2 came out with it, and a muldoon took his mod and added somekinda little tweak to it and called it his own, well. my friend was livid and wanted blood, but after contacting Bill Gates and Co., talking to several dozen business and claims lawyers found out the very thing I just mentioned above. Integrity plays on this field, and thats what binds gentlemen to a community like this one, so modders be proud of your work and keep em flyin!!
