Hi there Willy,
Not sure I understand your post.
are you saying that San's FOV changer is not a real FOV change,
or are you saying that Ecron is not a FOV change? Ecron isn't it just moves
the type and load screen.
I found a interesting post by Cirx from SAS site:
http://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,10.0.html
ITS CALLED: The Default Pilot's View in Cockpits and how to change them.
Now you would think that this thread would be an answer to everything I asked...
BUT with me not being able to interpret the dark arts of modding coding etc.
I need someone to translate it for me.
It looks to be a plane by plane chore but maybe someone skilled could write an
automated mod to change groups of planes at a time. Probably groups of planes
with similar cockpits. Theoretically it seems to a simple mod to make. But you never know.
it could be hardest, as most simple task generally turn out to be.
Please can someone help me solve this challenge.
Thanks Mat
The SAS mod is a POV mod (Point of View). It's not a FOV (Field of View) mod. Changing POV,s you change the default pilot position in cockpit, but you aren't getting a wider FOV.
San's FOV program is a real WS set up, although is unstable here. Ecranwide mod is not a FOV mod. You cannot get a true WS with it. Only change menus, map, FMB and GUI,s.
