Hello Mark, glad you like the progress so far, it feels like I'll be forever finishing this. :roll:
I need to do some serious research now, I'm going to do a limited road network so hopefully I can put that to bed soon, ish and make a start on making this a little more detailed. I badly need info on airfields in the region, especially how they were laid out. I could do with actual aerial photos to give me a clue on what to include. The French and Japanese must have built their airfields to a particular pattern, and it is their period of time it primarily was aimed at, if anyone could point me in the direction of books containing such info it would help considerably. Information on the airfields the Americans used is probably more readily available, as is the position of current airfields, unfortunately the only real info I have is on the approximate position of WWII airfields. They are now fields or built up areas.
How the towns, villages and Cities looked is also a major area of concern.
I need to find a member of the community who has a vast library of material for the region.
Anyway I've still quite a lot of road to lay and test so hopefully info may be forthcoming while I do that.
