Having all guns on one trigger is historical, however it would be nice if the earlier version didn't have this feature...which is also historical

Whether there was the ability to switch the trigger to fire guns independently in the later models I've got no idea, might take a bit more looking around to find the answer to that one unless someone has a reference?

Quote:"At first, the 23 mm and the 37 mm cannon could be used separately, but later the weapon system was redesigned and all 3 cannons would fire by clicking a single trigger."

Quote:What kind of actions did you have to undertake in order to deploy your air brakes? Did you have to take your hand off the throttle?
No. You pressed a button on the stick [to deploy them], and when you released the button they retracted. The cannon button was on top, under your thumb. The machine gun triggers were on the front. But we reconfigured them under a single button. It was the same on the MiG as it was on the Cobra.2 You press on one trigger and everything fired.
