is along the right lines, but I was actually thinking of dense fog, where it has enclosed you and visibility is about 200 feet all around the aircraft.

Something like:



I'm setting up a mission where 61 aircraft flew at 50 feet alt for 300 miles in a sea fog, and they could only see 4 aircraft either side of each aircraft. Every one made it to the rendezvous.

So, more of a close fog rather than a distant one.
