I understand that they are working a little with modders, that's good to know But I think more needs to be done. Oleg can happily leave Il-2 with TD but they need to say whether or not they will support mods. The TD can release a mod pack for all of us to use, and then all the forums can start making mods as before for a good base pack. At least then it's officially supported

DT have already stated that they do not and will not support mods other than DT mods for ethical reasons (but its nice to see that mods can light a fire under their ass for new features).

Yeah, I know all that. It is the official line. However, knowing what I know about things happening behind the scenes for years, I know that Oleg has an official policy for legal reasons-affiliations, contracts, and so forth. However, as you alluded, things happen which are cheaper and sometimes more effective than direct relationships. I'm sure guys can read between the lines here. :wink:
